It's amazingly well done by "Made By The Arm Reparation Facility of Department of Army". If it's not so marked, I would believe it's a Mauser. The guy did not show the internal pictures though. So, it might be a gun assembled from Mauser parts. Here is the thought: (1) Chinese Nationalist Army bought tens of thousand Mauser pistols in 1930s, those were new guns at that time, it's hard to believe no parts were imported along with those guns. Even A. F. Stoeger's small Mauser inventory had many parts available in their advertisement; (2) Why there was a big leap forward in quality between those 1920's copies and 1930's copies? (3) Serial number over 30 thousand on the instance. It's so hard to believe an arm repairing facility could make tens of thousands Schnellfeuer copies.
