Scott,


The grip strap markings usually read from top to bottom, but some read from bottom to top. The first number indicated the Regiment. Then there is usually some letters defining the Service Branch. Finally the last number is the weapon number.


I haven't seen any with a slash, but it wouldn't surprise me to have one.


I would interpret the marking as the 10th Regiment,353rd weapon assigned to that regiment.


I hope we get some other comments, because I'm not positive.
