Default Is this typical Swiss Frame Construction?

Hi,

This picture shows the rear of the frame of my 1906/24 Swiss Luger manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1923.

The lanyard loop metal appears to have been fixed in place by peening the end of the round wire inside the frame. I have not seen this in German Lugers I own.

Is this typical of construction for these Swiss manufactured Lugers, or is this likely a repair of some type.

I annotated the picture with white arrows to show the area I'm talking about...

Thanks, Marc
