You have sent him previous correspondence? Requests for your guns back?

Unfortunately, a year is not a unbelievable time for 'several' guns to be restored (why do you have several being restored at once)?

Not trying to defend him, but you are making pretty strong comments on the forum, and didn't even leave your name....
