I was a DJ for WSOU South Orange during college at Seton Hall University and got to meet all of the New York radio celebrities. I lost my job after me and my engineer put on Eric Claptons' Layla. We put it on ran down stair to blow a doobie listening to our station to give us time to run back to the mike! Unfortunatle we locked ourselves out. We then heard the bird churpin on the very end of the song. Then the dreded skip, skip skip, 'DEAD AIR! There went my career in radio!
