I just bought my first "real" Luger, a 1920 Commercial. I saw that mark on the left toggle in the photos (So far that's all I have) and thought it was a blemish, then saw some other Lugers from the same period that have this pin. When did they stop using it? My 1970's Mausers don't have it and I noticed other older models without it. What did they do instead? The pin in my Mauser appears to be much shorter than the pins in earlier versions, am I wrong? It appears that my 1970's Mauser has the axis pin staked, that is, conical openings opened up while in place with two conical punches from each side, is that correct? Thanks,
