ok, I think by your not knowing you are getting confused (meant in a nice way)

I bet it is a 1920 or 1921 made gun (or a bit later) but for the commercial market (the crown N) but was taken into army service / possibly for the police (the S.H.920 is a police weapons number). but does the luger have any markings on it?

Some extra pictures, full left, full right and under the front of the frame is the serial
number and is there a letter under it?
