The W+F P06/29 shown at the bottom of the photo is the most accurate gun I have, and totally reliable. The one shown on top remains unfired. I have no problem with carrying a 1906 pattern Luger with a round in the chamber.
As Bill Jordan put it, “ Speed is fine but accuracy is final.” So I would take the W+F P06/29 over the P38, being that the latter is neither accurate nor reliable. But for all-purpose social work, I prefer the SIG P210 and the Manurhin MR73 to any other handgun.
