Thanks Mike, I thought, as did George, that probaly descression is the better part of valor on the new owner grip removal, It's just too easy to turn a nice collectible unit into something less... I think that it's a nice unit same as you, it would look nice in any collection.. Hi David, I am really not sure in todays market, as times are getting tougher, with no end in sight... But, a few years back, that variation was, and still is, I'd guess, a pretty rare example, and I really think it might even now, bring more then 2K stated.. .. A lot of them, 41-42's, were upgraded by un-knowing collectors to Black Widow status back when it first became the craz and BW grip sets were more plentiful... Finding a 41-42 is pretty tough, an obiviously un-messed with one would bring a preminum... I'd like a shot at it if it comes up for sale... as I've never had a chance to have one in hand..

BTW, it the middle of a mid-night run to the toilet, I had to smile... The thought crossed my mind, The flu or food posioning, certainly is a great lesson in humility.. It treats kings and paupers, rich or poor all the same.. It kinda brings you back to being real happy with life when you get to feeling better..
