I came across this Kettner advertisement in an old copy of Deutsches Waffenjournal (DWJ), number 9 from 1987.
They probably got them through Interarms, who bought several batches of P08 pistols from the DDR government when the DDR was looking for some US currency. The DDR starburst markings were peened out in order to hide the fact that these P08 pistols actually came from an Eastern-Block country.
