Produced in 1936 by the Mauser factory,Sort of... untill we got hold of it! this beautiful Luger was made during the secret period of rearmament of German military forces.Then it was taken to our secret refurbishing plant in East New Jersey! Germany ignored the Treaty of Versailles and three years after this Luger was produced, World War II started. And 5 years after that there were millions of Lugers brought home to the USA! Beautiful bluing or spray paint..we ain't sure cause our Gucci shoes get dirty when we go down and see the elves in the secret refurbishing plant. , excellent bore...none of that AGE related frosting!, with German “nitro” commercial proof mark only begins to describe this Luger! We have no way of knowing how those little “nitro” commercial proof marks got on this military pistol since it's all matching! But there they are! And with its unique serial number. It's as unique as the other 1500 lugers with the same number! Those are unique too right? Fred..look up unique for me will you?
