Rick, Genuine grips are a real study in themselves..Look for quality first. The Germans didn't scrimp on it. The checkering was sharp and the rear of the grips on many had threaded holes where yours show dimples. It's reported this was to store the grip screws while the grips were off. Might have helped to take them out of the molds too.
