This luger has several issues that the poor photos fail to clear up. The serial number is not visible. Also a clear close-up of the Stoeger marking is essentail to detect a fraudulent stamping. The spotted blued barrel is unusual, it has a wide barrel band seen with some early "K" date lugers and also with some Finnish barrels. To take this "Stoeger" as geniune would take act act of faith and more photos. I suppose many variations came through the New York firm during the 20's and 30's so we will never know for certain without more photographic evidence.
