Thinking the same thing, I asked the seller the serial # earlier and he just responded. the serial # is "92xx". At least its not a test gun! Definitely an odd bird, though. The nickel implies war trophy, but the faint American Eagle implies US import.

I can't help pointing out the lack of etiquette in that the stag grips were omitted from this one!

But you know what? It is a nice shooter.
