Prayers are on the way ML... I will add his name to the Military deployment list at my church as well.
As Ed said, we are proud of him and his service.
ED, with regard to your comment about limiting deployments. I agree in principle, but as long as we have an all-volunteer force, I am afraid that any limit on combat deployments will be a high one.
There was a medal of honor award last week (to an Army Ranger), one of the two that were not posthumously awarded. The soldier lost his hand disposing of an enemy grenade that threatened his unit...even though he had already been wounded through both legs. The article said that he had served TWO tours to Iraq, and SIX tours in Afghanistan!
A professional soldier, who continues to serve his Ranger unit with a prosthetic hand... chokes me up just to know we have men like that defending freedom.
