Our Search engine is quite good; but if a pic on another server has been deleted or is unavailable, it is lost for all time...

The Japanese acquired a large number of foreign arms when they overran the countries they occupied. Presumably, the Chinese commander had a captured weapon. It's not my area of expertise; others here can answer that question more fully.
