its a Waltham, that sounds silly, but the thing you figure out now is the number of jewels, the size of the watch (size 14, 16, 18, 0 etc) and then what model.

However, yours looks like one of the in-between pocket and wrist watches, they made them still look like a pocket watch, but were designed for the wrist. They even sold huge arm bands, so you could wear your pocket watch on your wrist for a while.

I have a book back home that tells you all of this. Take pictures with you and either go to the library or go to Barnes and Nobles and sit, have a coffee and look the watch up (print it in color first).
