Albert's 1906 Portuguese Royal Navy is a world class 100% correct piece and I believe it to be the finest surviving example.
With regard to the comprehension of the use of the word "ignorant", in its vernacular use it, rightly or wrongly, carries the connotation of stupid. I disagree that there was a rush to judgement on the 1900 Commercial. Careful analysis of the first photos presented indicated that it is incorrect and has elements of an attempt to forge a more rare and valuable piece.
