Fred, There's a product we got at a local pet supply (Mini Pet Mart). I don't recall the name, it's herbal based in a spritzer bottle. It gives off a scent that is like CS (Pepper spray) which dissipates quickly. Just don't inhale when you apply it. It works great on "Hot Spots" and other skin conditions, and they won't lick it off. It's not cheap, but very effective.
