Hard to see because it's out of focus, but that could be two rows of stitching inside the magazine pouch where the cleaning rod enclosure was removed as well.

It looks like a skillful rework. Even the hole on top of the flap where the LP-08's strap stud looks like it was repaired.

I saw an interesting police modification of a pigskin LP-08 1917 dated holster today that was no where near as skillfully done.
