My buddy just bought a pre-war HI-Power. The gun looks like a real pre-war. It has the same markings as the one he purchased. The gun hasn't been buffed much if its been refinished as those stampings are pretty shallow.IMHO the finish is original.
The stock for this pistol is not correct. It should be the flat type board stick with a attached leather holster. This stock is for a Canadian made Inglis which was a WW2 copy of the Browning made gun.
