It is a WW2 holster, with correct marking. WW1 holsters have a different hinge, a seperate piece is used between the lid and body, The mag pouch on WW1 is seperate and not part of the back leather,On WW2 holsters there is a horizontal stitch going across the back,absent on WW1 holster

My first luger was a BYF 41 which I sold in 1958 while in college for $40 with an original holster. Didn't want to sell but the GI Bill in those days was pretty thin. I like your holster anyway it's unique.
