I'm planning on attending and competing in the Pistol competitions.

The CMP is also inaugurating their voluteer program for line officials and others that want to assist.

If you and other forum members are planning on attending, please PM me. With enough interest we can get together at the event.

If you have an interest in the Garand rifle, you should also know that CMP brings a semi-trailer full of rifles and ammo to the Camp Butner events. If you have your CMP paperwork in order, you can select a rifle yourself and tag it for later processing and shipment from Anniston, AL. This is a much nicer way to buy a CMP rifle than mail order. They will make ammo and other accessories available for sale at the event.

Last year, R. Lee Ermey was competing. This gracious gentleman spent quite a bit of time greeting competitors and especially the children that were there.
