I'm still learning the tricks for taking nice pictures and have found some good stickies on the subject. With that said, my picks don't really show that the patina on the barrel is almost identical to the patina on the frame which I would think shows the barrel has been with the gun for a long time. The last owner said he got it from his wife’s father years ago and the father brought it back from Europe (he didn't say if he was there for the war). Here is some pictures of the holster I got with it, once again it seems like the gun has been with the holster along time based on the fit and the wear patterns. The magazines I got are in nice shape and I'm assuming the wood one without the "Germany" stamp might be the correct one as the gun has no "Germany" stamp. I'm curious if anyone has an info on the age of the gun or info on the holster and magazines. I'll post the board stock in the navy section.
