I received my full-color catalogue for this auction a couple weeks ago and just got around to reviewing it. There is an example of almost every "test" Luger - American, Peruvian, Venezualian, Japanese Navy, Russian etc. etc. plus an A&F. Almost every one of them says "Excellent as refinished/restored" or "with evidence of touch up" or "with evidence of added finish". In addition, many others look to good to be true for uncommon variants. This is quite disturbing indeed. A couple of pieces strongly pique my interest, such as the AE Test with the holster and the cased 1906 commercial with the english distributor marked barrel, but I am going to stay away from this one.
