I voted other..and think the WWII era Mauser P08 with extruded mags and good ammo..would do about as well as any other 8 shot full-size 9mm pistol.

I suppose a Krause-werkes .45 or if you happened to have the #1 or #3 .45 test Luger..you could stick that in your pants and be about as well armed as anybody could hope for with a handgun...or at least..maybe use the pistol to barter your way out of trouble
