Default Montana Wildlife

This part of Montana is a wildlife paradise. We have a herd of about 180 elk in a field one mile from the house. Been there off and on for a month.

We have had deer (mule and whitetail), elk, moose, Big Horn sheep, mountain lion, wolf, and coyote in our field. Geese fly over the house morning and night. Pheasants by the dozens, grouse and raccoons in our bird feeder, bald eagles in our trees. And a herd of buffalo half a mile from the house. What a place to live.

Mule deer feeding on my bushes.

Turkeys crossing the road.
