I've used 'CorrosionX for Guns' on virtually every gun I own for years....that includes S&W Registered Magnums and Colt 1873's.
It is the best protective lubricant available, IMHO.
Doesn't hurt any finishes, protects the firearms.
It's vouched for by many senior collectors in all segments of our hobby.
