You're going to pay a little bit of a premium for a 'G' date. For your requirements: WWII, collector and shooter, not outrageous price, I'd suggest a 41 or 42 byf made by Mauser. Lots of them around in good shape for around 2K. A good starting point. errr... Welcome to the addiction
