Default Identify Old Crusty Mag

I was perusing my mag collection and found this oddball specimen today. It is completely umarked, old with a few small spots of pitting.

The follower button is unusual, and the mag weighs twice as much as my other mags - like solid steel. It looks like one extruded piece of metal and not wrapped like my imperial mags. It has some cosmoline inside of it, and I have no idea where I got it.

I'm thinking old POC mag with replaced bottom, but any thoughts on its identity are appreciated.
