Just to confuse the issue even more, two of the Navies in the Navy List have the circle S stamp on their left receivers, and neither have police markings. The first, a 1906 1st Altered, #4304a, is illustrated in "The Navy Luger" by John Walter, the second, a 1917 #620a, has it's chamber marked 1920/1917. Both have 6" barrels and two position Navy sights. Regards, Norm
