Default Any info would help me.

My little brother inherited a Lugar from my grandfather who accuired it in WW2. I don't know much if anything about it other than the information my mom sent in this limited email. I have been asked by several members of my family to do a little research to find out perhaps a generalized value for insurance purposes and basic information for curiosity sake. I will have the ability to further inspect said Lugar 6 months from now when someone takes it back out of storage (its in another state) but until then I have a few pictures and the basics from moms email. I understand there is A LOT to valuing a Lugar, and the info I am giving is very vague, but ANY further information then what I have would be helpful to me. Thanks.

It’s a German Luger S/42- Serial No. 8586, Model 1937 w/ two magazines Serial No.8586 and holster. Captured from a German officer.
