Its great how all the intelligent gents on this forum can piece together information from a photo.
That picture ,IMHO ,was taken at the Desert Tank Training center near Amboy CA. Its in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
He is standing in front of a early M3 Stuart AKA Honey tank.
There are lots of snakes to shoot out there!
