Re: Mauser InterArms Reputation
Dear Pete,
in the forum we spoke other time concerning Mauser Parabellum. The Mauser Parabellum is not a Replica, is the last Luger made by Mauser after WWII. I remeber you that Mauser has the original blue print that Mr Weiss save from destruction in 1947. The French army took under occupation the Mauser firm from 1945 to 1947 and in this period Mauser made Luger from French. (for example one of most rare LP08 is the model made by Mauser under French occupation in this period).
Concerning the collectable value of Mauser parabellum, I remeber you that the commemorative model are very collectable. Mauser made commemorative model for the most important model (bulgarian, russian, swiss, P08, cartridge counter, navy, carbine and LP08). This pistol are very collectable. It is hard to find this pistol now.
I have in my collection different commemorative and the quality is very good.
The comercial model (29/70 model similar to 29/06 swiss model) and the (06/73 model similar to 06 model) are very common and probably, still now, not so collectable.
Please let me know if you need some others information about Mauser Parabellum.
