I had the opportunity to visit G.T. right after he got canned. It is remarkable how upbeat he remains. In spite of having a long series of health problems and job loss, he retains an indomitable spirit. He can stay focused on the possibilities of the future rather than adopt a “poor me” attitude about the present.
G.T. is a master craftsman and never lowers his standards. Every item he makes is letter perfect. He is a real asset to the Luger collecting community. His chief flaw is that he is generous to a fault. He will give you the shirt off his back. Now that his products will be his primary source of income, it will be necessary to price them according to their true value and sell them, not give them away. Let’s all support this great guy and give him fair payment for his work.
