Mikko,

By "left over parts" Tom means that they were new parts left unassembled at the wars end, as indicated by the Imperial proofs on the right side.

DWM merely used new, un-assembled ,in stock parts to build these Lugers in 1923 for the Finnish Government. Serial numbers were applied at the time of production.

7.65 Parabellum Finnish Lugers are a bit more scarce, at least in the U.S., as most were re-barreled to 9mm by the Finnish Gov't at a later date. Does your Luger have a brass disc embedded in the right grip?

That is a beautiful holster, as well.
