Enjoyed your update. I saw several Lugers at our San Diego Gun Show. All in poor condition and all were over priced.

Yes, fixing up a shooter is a great way to go. Today I purchase a 6" Luger barrel and extension conversion kit for my 4" shooter. I am tickled pink with the prospects of having a 6" shooter.
