I have never had that happen, some site may have put a 'bug' on you computer. At the top of your screen find 'edit' click it and then 'preferences' select 'advanced' then disable 'javascript' and close out. That shoud stop the popup's but some sites will not work without javascript, Hotmail, Delphi forums, and others. If you have problems logging in go back and change it back to enable javascript.
