Re: Mauser InterArms Reputation
Hello Tom,
Thanks for your info.
Just wondering if any of your new Mauser Interarms units are for sale ? Let me know if you have any 6" bbl guns.
Also, could you recommend some basic spare parts that I should consider buying, at the same time ?
Contra Costa Collectible Firearms (in Walnut Creek, CA) is the closest FFL shop that I would use (i.e. trust) for any gun transfer.
As far as I have been able to tell, the quality of the Interarms product seems to be reported as a higher quality than the S/S units from the Mitchell/AIMCO folks.
I might seem a "heretic" in such a collector's forum as this, but my interest would be having fun shooting and I would assume I would have less risk finding a NIB luger "replica" rather than the real thing (understanding the Interarms would cost more...).
I appreciate the history the real ones have, but if I get hooked after my first replica "luger", I might look into a collector-grade unit, then.
Thanks in advance for your time and info.
Pete...
