The differences in barrel mass between a "standard" .30 and a "standard" 9mm will have no difference on the action of the pistol. The difference in the cartridge power, however, will.

A 9mm Luger has a more powerful recoil spring, to enable proper operation with the more powerful load. My experience in shooting a 9mm-rebarreled .30 is that the pistol is more sensitive to "limp wristing" and the toggle tail beats the heck out of the back of the frame.
