I am sure you have the proper term a German would use, but it has the same connotation that I couldn't quite resolve when I tried to come up with a term (hence the question marks). It seems to me that nachgozogen would indicate "re-rifled" rather than "relined"...same result but not necessarily the same process. Not disputing your terms, lord knows my German isn't equal to the task!
