The parts of this gun are very tightly coupled. Not easy to modify to upgrade, but very easy to modify to downgrade (from sportsman's view, of course. From collector's view, any non factory/government permanent change equals downgrade). But there is one thing that can be improved for sure: the sight. The sight is too small, and the reverse triangle notch does not make life easy. The front sight could fall off during shooting!! Another area that can be improved is safety. Its safety works on sear, not on firing pin.

Not reliability related though.
