Friend purchased his first Luger!
Hi all! A friend of mine just purchased his first Luger. It is a code 42 marked 1939. It appears to be all matching except the magazine (which the previous owner scratched his name on it). I didn't want to remove the grips to see if they were matching (not wanting to risk damaging them) but when I was taking pictures I could see that the former owner had removed them and also engraved his name on the interior side of the wood grips. I'm just looking for your thoughts and valuation of this Luger (and the dagger he purchased with it). Now let's see if I can figger out how to attach the pictures! Thanks!
