I've always preferred the longer barreled "PP" over the "PPK"...and I am very pleased with my Russian capture P38...

The re-bluing on my Russian capture is very well done; I thought it was original, too, especially since there was no buffing done...but it is reblued...and I would think yours is too...

Real hard to tell...I suspect they chemically strip the old finish (others say they just blue right over the old finish) and then blue them...without any buffing or sanding/grinding...

I dunno about the price; seems like it might be a bit high, but like they say - a bird in the hand...
