Ray,

Does the hold-open work? Load a single round and see if it locks back. If not it may be an indication that the main spring is too strong for the ammo you are using, although there are other possibilites. Define "factory ammo." The bulk Winchester ammo should work well enough. The fact that every round stovepiped in three magazines suggests that it is more likely the ammo or the gun and not the magazine. Has the barrel/receiver been modified at the chamber? Best of luck. KFS
