Very good. It has the characteristics such as the dingy safety paint and the very slight wear at the high spots. It came out of a collection of Lugers and I suspect the fellow displayed them as he didnt own holsters for them. The finish looks pretty original. I have collected military long arms for a while and it looks right to me. This is my first Luger though, so I will also check out the other small details you mentioned. He is asking $1500 for it, so he is in the ballpark. Thanks for all your help.
