"In 97% original condition with a matching mag and excellent bore, we have a very rare DWM sneak Wiemar Police Luger that was reworked for SS use. It is believed that these guns were reworked in 1940 for SS use in the concentration camps that were expanding at the time. This was originally a DWM sneak Luger with Schutz Polizei Stettin markings which were later X'd out. The gun does bear an SS rework cartouche on the sear bar. While there was some early speculation that these guns were WW1 flame thrower unit marked, this has not turned out to be the case, and a definitive SS association has clearly been established. If you collect SS items, this is a very rare and unique chance to obtain a rare weapon actually proven to have been used by them."
His description of a DH "Sneak" Luger he sold. Where is this "definitive" proof of SS association documented? Has anyone seen it?
It looks like an Alphabet Commercial purchased for police issue to Schutzpolizei Stettin, with bogus markings added. 1929 BKIW (sneak) Lugers are all in the
s,t,u suffix range. IMO, someone took a $3500 dive.
I think this Luger was floating around GB with a similar claim, not long ago.
