All the 50000 DWM Lugers of the first order got the large numbers. That stopped with the (last of the 50000) DWM 1911 with e suffix about 31. march 1911.
Reason for it seeems to be the Stempelvorschrift from 1910 (which was written more for the Lugers of the riflefactory Erfurt than for the DWM).
