I am sure it has happened many times, but it is not the likely choice of an average criminal.... why would it be?

It is not as easy to find as say a glock or ruger or colt or ... In other words, unless stolen or used by someone who associates the luger with bad things, I can't imagine why it would be chosen?


Just a guess or feeling, but perhaps if your wife feels this way, I would guess she feels lugers are associated badly. To many folks, they associate lugers with nazi's. And lugers started in the early 1900's, many, many years before them.
