I have been interested in purchasing a Luger for quite some time. My Great Uncle was with the 644th Tank Destroyer Battalion in WWII. During the war he very often would send items home as my Father remembers opening a few packages from him, he vividly remembers all of his loot was wrapped up in ponchos. I have a beautiful Haenel KK Sport .22 rifle he sent home, an Iron Cross, all of his campaign medals, his Presidential Unit Citation and a cheap copy of his Belgian Fourragère. I have many of his items, however there is one I don't have. My Dad was promised his Luger he brought back with him, however upon my Great Aunts death (Uncle predeceased Aunt) the Luger was no where to be found. I even have my Great Uncles form where he declared the Luger and have its serial number as well. So at any rate, I want to obtain a WWII Luger to sort of remember my Uncle and pay tribute to what he did.

What's the serial#? Photos?
If you know your uncle's luger's serial#, why not posting a want-to-buy note in the WTB section if this forum? Maybe it shows up some time.
